Ever check into a hotel and set your stuff down on the table only to discover the table legs are uneven or the table is wobbly?
Check under the table to determine if it's the table mount to the legs that is loose or if it's the feet that are uneven. If it's the table mount, call for maintenance.
If it's the feet, first check to see if there are feet adjustments. Most tables have feet that can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the feet in a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation.
If for some reason that doesn't work, use a phone book as illustrated above. Sure, it's not the prettiest solution but it's quick and you can adjust the height by adding or subtracting pages. It's usually only on leg of the table that's off anyways.
